WHY DID I CHOOSE MY MAJOR?

 Hello again. I am writing this blog to tell you a little bit about my future profession and some things about it. I am in my second year of public administration.I chose this career because I believe that my vocation is public service and social. I believe that public administration is my tool to make a change in people and impact their quality of life. 

This sense of social vocation comes from my childhood. I dreamed of working as a car mechanic, but I worked for free hahaha, how utopian.

I had other study options, but they were almost identical: political science, law, social work, etc. But I decided to go for public administration largely because of a very influential teacher and my grandparents who spent more than 40 years in public service in a municipality.  

My college experience has been painful, how sad because of the pandemic I have never set foot on my faculty or known university life, but I do not lose hope that I will be able to return to a sense of normalcy.
